DVD: Guess Who

I kinda wanted to see this in the theaters - I'm glad I didn't waste $30 on tickets and ridiculously-priced snacks. It was ok, but it seemed like a bit too much of a complete and total rip-off of Meet the Parents. The same gags - the awkward car ride, lying about stuff to impress the future in-laws, sneaking around the house to fool around with the fiancee, the list goes on... I chuckled quite a bit, but it wasn't exactly a gut-buster, and the constant emphasis on the race thing was making me squirm a bit. Okay, we get it - he's white, she's black. Move on!

Bottom line: Eh... maybe.
